The use of SVS SAFElite600 has been designed keeping in mind the value of human life which has been repeatedly lost due to unmindful use of flat FRP sheets on the roof tops of many Industrial and warehouse applications, where many a times, personnel working on the roof tops have accidently or, unaware of the consequences, have stepped on these vulnerable sheets and have fallen down from high tops either seriously injuring themselves or completely succumbing to the unfortunate fall. The high dome design of SAFElite600 is highly visible and cannot be ignored while working on the roof top hence deterring a person from stepping upon it. Even if somebody deliberately steps upon the dome, the dome is strong enough not to let the person fall down. At the same time the hole size of 600 mm is small enough to prevent the person from passing through it.
Construction
SVS SAFElite600 daylight system essentially consists of.. High impact DOME for maximum collection of sunlight throughout the trajectory of the Sun from Sunrise to Sunset. DIFFUSER PLATE to make the light wide spread on the floor and comfortable.
The vacuum surface coated REFLECTOR is capable of reflecting more than 95 % of incident light towards the shop floor and hence make available the sunlight to the shop floor even at low angles of the Sun.
The BASE PLATE made of UV stabilized GRP is a true adaptor between the roof sheet of any kind of profile and the DOME and makes it very easy to install SVS SAFElite600 without any change in the structure of the roof top.
COVERAGE
One number SAFElite600 mounted at a height of 20 feet can illuminate an area of 150 sq feet with reflected sunlight up to 300 Lux. When an array of SAFElite600 are installed throughout the shed at strategic places, the result is full illumination of the floor needing no or minimum electric lighting.
INSTALLATION
The perfectly matching base sheet is installed exactly in the manner the roof sheets themselves are installed and hence does not permit water leakage throughout its lifetime. The installation is done on the roof sheet after cutting a hole of 600mm and inserting the base sheet below the ridge cap or between two roof sheets at the joints.
MAINTENANCE
The unit is self cleaning type from the top side even as the dust, tree leaves etc generally do not settle on the round dome or get swept away by the wind or the rain from time to time. The bottom side may need some attention if the floor has the smoke or dust generation or chemical processes etc.
WARRANTY
SVS SAFElite600 comes with a warranty of 12 months for any manufacturing defects and water leakage, subject to standard warranty terms.
